Celebrating Our People

At Crown Couriers, five core values provide a solid foundation for the way we operate and serve our customers. The driving force, united in bringing our values to life are our people, who are passionate about delivering great customer service every single day.

In 2018, we decided it was time to give more back to the people who do an outstanding job of living and breathing our company values. So, we set up a brand-new recognition programme, focused around our five core values: Deliver More, Rise to the Challenge, Initialise Potential, Visionary Thinking and Exceed Expectation, and we called it ‘DRIVE’ (clever, eh?).

The first quarterly awards saw an incredible 32 nominations from right across the business, however with only five values there could only be five winners, so our board of directors faced a tough decision to whittle the nominations down.

But I am pleased to announce that our winners have been chosen and today, our managing director was proud to present each winner with a £50 Love2Shop voucher and a certificate setting out the brilliant work they had carried out to achieve the award.

Our fantastic winners are:

‘Deliver More’ – Wayne Hogan (Warehouse)

For stepping up when his manager was on holiday, acting as Warehouse Deputy despite only having been with Crown a couple of weeks, to ensure that the warehouse ran smoothly in his manager’s absence.

‘Rise To The Challenge’ – Naomi Clark (Customer Service)

For stepping up when her manager was on holiday, for training and support of her colleagues and other departmental staff, and her excellent work regards one of our key customers.

‘Initialise Potential’ – Zoe Bennett (Customer Service)

For her willingness to learn and to adapt to new challenges and for her help and support to her colleagues in Customer Service during the week and on weekends.

‘Visionary Thinking’ – Andy Allen (Night Team)

For his expertise, dedication and problem solving ability in managing the volumes of trade coming from one of our key customers.

‘Exceed Expectation’ – Kirsty Moses (Accounts)

For her help and support in solving a customer reporting issue for the out of hours team,  significantly reducing the time it takes to produce the report

Crown Couriers is extremely proud of the service it delivers to its customers each and every day, but it is without a doubt these incredible winners and all of the nominees that we have to thank for that.
